Why is my member account INACTIVE?

Your membership account will go into INACTIVE status if there is a problem with your email address linking to the HeartStrings newsletter subscription list.

If you are not already subscribed for HeartStrings newsletters, the system will email an invitation to the address you enter. You can expect to receive this email almost immediately after submitting your Registration Form (if you do not see it in your inbox within an hour, look in your spam folder). CONFIRM THIS INVITATION so that you can continue to enjoy member-only content at this Knit HeartStrings site.

If you confirm the invitation confirmation email right away, your account will remain in ACTIVE status, and you will be good to go.

If you do not confirm upon receiving the invitation confirmation email, your account will be changed to INACTIVE. You will need to find the email in or inbox (or your spam), and follow the confirmation instructions by clicking on the link. If you do not want to click the link yourself, you can forward the ENTIRE email to me at jackie@heartstringsfiberarts.com and I will click the link for you. That link in the email is the only thing that will unlock your account, so don’t lose it until it is used!

After you confirm, it sometimes takes a little while before I get the message over the internet. And then I have to get online myself and manually (re-)activate you. Please be patient – manual (re-)activation can take up to 24 hours.

If the email you supplied on the membership form bounces or is otherwise an invalid address, you will be placed in INACTIVE status. Please email jackie@heartstringsfiberarts.com with your valid email address and I will update your account.
