I just upgraded to the basic level and it was easy to download the December snowflake pattern. I have been watching monthly for a while and decided it was time. These smaller projects will make great gifts and won’t take forever to make. Thank you.

I love lace edgings, and am eager to join the Smoke Rings KAL. Thank you for offering it.

I just upgrade my membership from Basic to Premium. I WILL make the ring for me and another one for my daughter. LOL. Can you put beads in it? Looking at the picture, it looks like it would be feasible to place them just after the flat part and before the tubing part.

Jackie, I just renewed my membership today. ( I was wondering if
the Tea-time pattern could be made into a tablecloth.)
    Thank you for this pattern.

Thank you so much for renewing your membership and the support. I’m delighted you will be continuing.

As to upsizing the Tea-time pattern to a tablecloth … I guess all things are possible, lol. Since this design starts at the outer edge, it would be a LOT of cast on sts depending on your target size. Basically, I think the magic number would mean upsizing in units of 12 stitches along each side for the Center Area; i.e. adding multiples of 48 sts for all around. If doing the petit scallop edging (which I don’t think I’d have the patience to do on a piece much larger than this, lol), that means casting on multiples of 60 sts (since the petit scallop edging begins with multiples of 5 sts and ends up with multiples of 4 sts).

I hope you’ll have fun trying out this smaller project. Then see what you think for enlarging.

Even though it might be very difficult to simply scale up to a tablecloth, you might consider making this as a modular design. Knit several (many?) Tea-time squares (even different colors, perhaps) and join them together. Once all the squares are joined, add the lovely border to the whole cloth.

Thank you so very much for being the first to send me a Happy Birthday wishes (BD is not here until Easter). And Zephyr yarn is a dream to knit with. I made a shawl for my daughter. Hopefully, I will made one for me too (hint) with this beautiful April contest.

Jackie thank you so much for such cool patterns. I’m supposed to have shut down the spending and then I see your Bead Skinny Skarf. It is so fun looking and so beautiful there was no way I could pass it up. I think I shall fondly rename you Jackie the Enabler. Keep your lovely creativity coming:)
