Beaded Winter Wonderland features theme socks reminiscent of a winter scene. There are beaded stylized Norwegian snowflakes, snowdrifts, pine trees, and lightly fallen snow. The cuff is sideways knitted in garter stitch; the remainder of sock is knitted in the round.

In its elemental form, lace is just holes arranged in a pleasing pattern. I think that what makes lace design so intriguing beyond just the holes is the texture that complements the lace. The slant of the compensating decreases, and other twists and turns of the stitches in the fabric create an extra dimension of interest. (The picture shown is from Kitty In Your Lap Towel.)

Kit includes S07 Mixed Jelly Beans pattern, 1 50g ball each of Steinbach Wolle Strapaz 80% superwash wool/20% nylon yarn in a solid base color and its coordinating multi-color, 25g of size 8/0 Miyuki glass seed beads in HeartStrings' custom Jelly Bean mix, and nylon collapsing eye threader for easy stringing of the beads.

Make your choice of solid color yarn and it will paired with its companion multi-color.

The interplay of the knit-purl basketweave texture and beaded knitting makes this a fun-knit project. The stitch pattern used for the center portion of the scarf is a slip-stitch pseudo ribbing that gives an extra-soft cushion of comfort around your neck. Split-cuff anklets can be worn with the split either to outer or inner sides of ankles.
