This preemie hat is simply knit flat back and forth on 2 needles. What is clever is in the finishing, where the seam is sewn to mimic the herringbone lace stitch, and thus appears to be "seamless". The pattern reveals the secret that makes this work. Your knitting friends won't believe that you didn't knit this hat circularly!

Honeycomb Shadow Lace coordinates a lighter-color textured yarn and a darker color smooth yarn to give 3-dimensional illusion of shadows inside the spaces.

Turn a plain outfit into something special with this lovely lace collar. Shown here in Tilli Tomas Rock Star, a sumptuous silk yarn plied with beads. Or use your choice of DK / worsted weight yarn. This collar knits up quickly on size 7 US / 4.5 mm needles using only 60 yards of yarn.

Beaded Winter Wonderland Socks are reminiscent of a winter scene. There are beaded stylized Norwegian snowflakes, snowdrifts, pine trees, and lightly fallen snow. The cuff is sideways knitted in garter stitch; the remainder of sock is knitted in the round.

A DK weight yarn in soft natural fibers that is made from high quality merino/merino cross wool, with a cable twist for extra durability. This superwash cable-twist yarn is incredibly soft and bouncy with a memory, and yet will last a lifetime. 50g ball/approx 110 yards. Plan for sweaters at 5½ sts per inch on knitting needles size 6 US/4mm; or for socks at 6½ sts per inch on needles size 2 US/3mm.
