Make these baby socks quick-as-a-wink by knitting a small amount of lace edging and attaching to ready-made baby socks. It's a nice hand-made touch with a small amount of time and materials invested.

This delicate lace scarf is designed with a knitted lace pattern stitch where the silhouette of yarn over eyelets is reminiscent of maple leaves. The attractive textured lace border is knit at the same time as the center area of maple leaves. Thus, the knitting is done entirely from end-to-end in one piece with no picked up stitches or seams to sew.

Knit a miniature version of the red, white and blue U.S. flag. The lacy stripes and beaded stars symbolize the flag proudly waving in the breeze. The pattern instructions include a neat trick to carry the unused stripe color up each side without showing. No extra weaving in of ends! This is the updated version that contains both charted and written instructions.

Unique cuff/leg in spiraling stripes are knit lengthwise side-to-side rather than circularly. For people with narrow ankles relative to leg size, just twist the bias stripes further when wearing for a nice no-sag fit.

High quality Japanese glass drop beads by Miyuki, approximately 300 per 15g. These beads are rounded at one end, and tapered at the other end where the hole is, i.e. they look like a teardrop! and are sometimes referred to as fringe beads. Great for beads around the edge of a shawl or scarf, or dangling within a yarn over of knitted lace, etc.
